Kate and Connor’s recent wedding in Monument, Colorado was what every summer wedding should be: a laid back fun celebration of two quality people saying “I do”. I’m not sure I’ve seen a couple so relaxed and a wedding day go so smoothly. It was a fantastic time from start to finish.
Kate laughed often with her bridesmaids as they got ready at the Bridal Cottage a block away from the Hearth House venue. Her close friends and family flew in from all over the country to spend the day together and it was readily apparent how close she is to each of them.
Connor meanwhile had a fun time drinking beers (Connor loves beer, works in Seattle to create delicious beer, and also has impeccable taste in beer) and playing ring toss with his best friends and brother.
Following a whimsical ceremony where the wedding party and friends read poems, revised vows, and made everyone present bust up laughing, Kate and Connor enjoyed the evening eating and dancing the night away with their guests. This truly was the fun time that every wedding should be. I have to say it was a reflection of the fun, personable, caring, down to earth people that Kate and Connor are.
Thank you Kate and Connor for the private of photographing your wedding day. What a blast! May you and your awesome family treasure your photographs for the rest of your lives.
